Join Horst Arts for a wonderful night of crafting and wine! Artist Katherine Horst will walk guests through a simple craft project that leaves everyone with a personalized unique item ready to hang.
Using just glue, magazines, white paint and a custom stencil you will have fun making something all the while enjoying a glass of wine from Grandview Vineyard’s excellent selection.
During the workshop, attendees will browse through hundreds of magazines to find their choice of image or color to glue to a 9 x 12 inch wooden canvas. Katherine will be there to give tips and guidance on what materials would work best. There are two steps: Gluing the paper and then using the white paint on the top to mask out parts of the image for a final decorative element with the stencil. Its a craft that is wonderful for all skill sets from beginner to the artist.
