October in Abundance
October was packed with community, connection, and celebration. As we transition from harvest season to prepping for the colder months ahead, things are anything but boring here at the vineyard.
There’s always so much to love about October and it’s sometimes beyond wild to consider how many memories were made over what feels like a few short weeks. Recapping the month, we enjoyed:
End of Harvest Celebration
We wrapped up our harvest season with picking our Cabernet Franc grapes, marking the end of another successful growing season and setting the stage for an exciting new vintage.
Live Music Nights by the Firepit
Throughout October, guests gathered on the deck for our live music series, enjoying warm firepits, good company, and, of course, great wine, beer and other cocktails.
Halloween Festivities
Getting in theme, October featured a spooky-themed trivia night that tested guests’ Halloween knowledge hosted by Cheater’s Never Prosper Trivia. Our Halloween events also allowed us to bring a playful spirit to the vineyard with “Trick or Treat in the Vineyard” for families and friends. This was much fun, especially as we got to feature Live Bluegrass Music by Hot Rod Mule. We loved seeing all of the costumes and smiling faces making their way around the vineyard! A big thank you to FCCB for helping by sponsoring this community event.
Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop
October also got to come with a fun twist with bohemian charm as Guests tapped into their creative sides crafting macrame plant hangers with Twisted Easel.
Pretty in Pink Ladies’ Night
In support of breast cancer awareness, our “Pretty in Pink Ladies’ Night” created a special evening women to come together, celebrating and supporting each other. The vineyard adorned in a beautiful display of pink, honoring the strength and resilience of countless women.
November events you’ll want to take note of…
As we move into November, we’re keeping the momentum going with an exciting lineup of events to welcome the holiday season:
- Gourmet Popcorn and Wine Pairings – Every Friday in November (except Black Friday) at 5:30 pm. Each week, guests will sample pairings of our wines with gourmet popcorn flavors brought to you by Emma’s Gourmet Popcorn for a playful twist to traditional tastings. Perfect for an evening with friends!
- Friendsgiving Trivia – November 7 at 6:30 pm. Get ready for a Friends-themed trivia night with a Thanksgiving twist, hosted by Cheaters Never Prosper Trivia. $25 for a team of up to 6, including a $25 gift card for the night. Don’t forget to mention your team size when you register so we can arrange seating!
- Barrel Room Yoga – November 14, 6-7 pm. Join us in the barrel room for our first winter yoga series! For $20, enjoy an hour of yoga followed by a beverage. Bring snacks and stick around afterward to relax with friends.
- Holiday Wreath Workshop – November 21, 6:30-9:30 pm. Grab some friends and make a festive holiday wreath using live greens while you sip on your favorite Grandview wine.
- Black Friday Celebration – November 29, 1-6 pm. Skip the mall crowds and unwind with us instead! We’ll have special deals and celebrations all day long to kick off the holiday season.
November at Grandview is packed with events designed to bring you and your friends together for good wine, good fun, and a welcoming community. We hope to see you here as we wrap up the fall and get into the holiday spirit!
