DESCRIPTION:This year’s CDS Cornhole Tourney Benefit held at Grandview is on August 13th. Doors open at 11:30AM and bags fly at 12:30PM. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 teams. This is an amateur tournament and not for professionals. It’s for fun\, and to raise money for Chad’s family (see below for more of Chad’s story). The cost is $20 per person\, $40 per team\, or $10 for those not playing but attending. Your donation includes: entrance into the tourney\, food\, soda and water all day as well as participation in the silent auction. There will be a cash bar with beer and wine available. C4G is a group of amazing individuals who raise money for charities that support underprivileged children. Chad David Shifflett was a father\, a brother\, a son\, a husband\, an amazing friend\, AND one of the core members of C4G. On January 8th\, 2020 he was involved in an accident that took his life. As a result of Chad’s impact on our life\, we have chosen to do what we KNOW Chad would do for any of us in the same situation: find ways to care for his family. With this in mind\, we have created the CDS Memorial Cornhole Tournament. This is an annual event with proceeds going directly to his wife and 2 sons. Come enjoy live music from 3:30-5:30 while socializing on the lower lawn with friends and other wine club members.\nThis is a wine club only event\, however we are allowing each member up to 6 tickets in order to enjoy the afternoon with your family or friends. Members will need to be present to check in guests. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Bring your wine glasses as we will be serving in plastic.\nPlease take a moment to reserve your complimentary tickets online so that we are able to prepare for how many members and guests will be attending.\n\nReserve Your Tickets Here \n\nPlease enter through the lower driveway (sign at the end of the lane says “Weddings & Events”) and park in the grass lot. We will have a limited selection of wine (Chardonnay\, Cab Duo\, Merlot\, Blossom\, Precious Pink and the NEW Grande Blanc!!) available for purchase. If you prefer different wines\, feel free to stop up at the tasting room and get a bottle to bring down. We will also have a few local beer selections on tap.\n\nPlease note that this event is RAIN or SHINE.  In the event of severe weather\, event will be moved inside the screened in pavilion.  You are permitted to bring pop up tents for shade or the occasional shower – all pop ups should be placed on the edges of the yard as to not block the view of other guests.
