Kristen Meckley from Slice of Divine Charcuterie will walk us through a fun and entertaining lesson on how to curate a beautiful 10in charcuterie platter. During the workshop\, attendees will learn different cheese cutting techniques\, how to create the ever popular salami roses and rivers. Artist Katherine Horst will walk guests through a simple craft project that leaves everyone with a personalized unique item ready to hang.\nUsing just glue\, magazines\, white paint and a custom stencil you will have fun making something all the while enjoying a glass of wine from Grandview Vineyard’s excellent selection.\nDuring the workshop\, attendees will browse through hundreds of magazines to find their choice of image or color to glue to a 9 x 12 inch wooden canvas. Katherine will be there to give tips and guidance on what materials would work best. There are two steps: Gluing the paper and then using the white paint on the top to mask out parts of the image for a final decorative element with the stencil. Its a craft that is wonderful for all skill sets from beginner to the artist.\nHorst Arts is excited to bring their staple craft project to a beautiful location in the hills of Lancaster County. Experience joy and laughter with friends over a glass of your favorite wine\, local beer or specialty cocktails. Come rain or shine. Music will move inside in the case of inclement weather. We are open 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm Fridays and 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm Saturdays\, so plan to arrive early as seating is first come first serve.  Food is available for purchase or you may bring your own. Beverages are available for purchase until 8:30 pm. No open bottles/glasses will be sold after 8:30 pm.
